DOWNTOWN MURPHY, N.C.- We have all been tracking Hurricane Irma closely since Hurricane Harvey laid it’s destructive hands on Texas. We have seen an outpouring of love and concern for our fellow Americans. We have read the reports, we have reached out to loved ones, and even to strangers that may be evacuating to our necks of the woods.

What we might not get a chance to see is the more humorous and uplifted side of our Southern counterparts. As we await what is considered to be one of the biggest storms to ever make landfall in the United States, Floridians are having a ball of a time on Facebook.
