Harold Junior Tarpley: Obituary

Mr. Harold Junior Tarpley, age 73, of Murphy, NC passed away September 19, 2015 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Mr. Tarpley was born December 3, 1941 in McCaysville, GA to Cecil l H. Tarpley and Della Ross. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, son, Cecil Harold Tarpley, and brothers, Herman, Jimmy, and Steven Tarpley. .

Survivors include: wife, Radella Marie Tarpley, sister & husband, Carol & Wesley Richardson, brother & wife, Reid & Betty Tarpley and niece, Terresa Tarpley and nephew, John Tarpley

Funeral services: Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Pittman officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chris Crump, Bristol Ray, Wesley Richardson, Vince McDowell, Charles Duvall and Zack Ratcliff. Honorary pallbearers: Bryan Crump, Kaylah Redden, Pam Crump and Brenda McDowell.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 10:00 am until time of services at 2:00 pm.
