Mrs. Lana Radford Hooper: Obituary

Lana Radford Hooper, age 64, of Hayesville, NC passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the North East Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

She was born in Cherokee County, NC to the late Lloyd and Virginia Farmer Radford. Lana was a self-employed hairdresser. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. Lana loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherell Hooper who passed away in 2012; and three brothers, Danny Radford, Russell Radford and Ronnie Radford.

She is survived by two sons, Chad Hooper and wife Tammy of Hiawassee, GA and Eric Hooper and wife Angela of Hayesville, NC; one daughter, Kim Maney and husband Dwayne of Hayesville, NC; one brother, Greg Hill of Hayesville; one sister, Kathy Seabolt of Murphy, NC; and four grandchildren, Chandler Hooper, Ashlyn Maney, Adrian Hooper and Breely Hooper.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Dr. Chester Jones will officiate. Music will be provided by Billy Garrett. Burial will be in the Hooper Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Garrett, Dwayne Maney, Bo Hill, Josh Radford, Michael Seabolt and Jake Davies. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Welch.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
