Mr. Lawrence Hoffman: Obituary

Lawrence Hoffman, age 92, of Hayesville, NC passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 in Hall County, GA.

He was a native of Clay County, NC and the son of the late Bynum and Delia Cruise Hoffman. Lawrence was a welder for Lidseen Manufacturing in Warne, NC. He enjoyed fishing and in his younger days riding motorcycles. Lawrence was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan O’Neal and four sisters, Edith Dowell, Grace Plott, Mary Hoffman and Louise Ledford.

She is survived by one son, Willard Hoffman and wife Patsy of Jefferson, GA; one daughter, Jane Earl Swain of Dahlonega, GA; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Rev. Charles Shelton will officiate. Burial will be in the Hayesville United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1 PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Townson- Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
