Baby Jeremiah Anthony O’Shields: Obituary

Jeremiah Anthony O’Shields, infant son of Jimmy Anthony O’Shields Jr. and Jessica Bruce O’Shields passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

In addition to his parents Jeremiah is survived by one brother, Malachi Burger and two sisters, Grace and Faith O’Shields; paternal grandparents, Jimmy O’Shields, Sr. and wife Brenda O’Shields of Pickens, SC; maternal grandparents, William and Mary Bruce of Murphy, six uncles, Christopher Merrell, Mitchell Merrell, Steven O’Shields, Brandon O’Shields, Shawn Bruce and Alex Bruce; two aunts, Samantha Bruce and Trinity Bruce and several cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC. Rev. Tommy Hayes and Pastor Clyde Gravley will officiate. Special music will be provided by Samantha Bruce, Elijah Hayes, Jerry Morrow and The Mashburns. Burial will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy O’Shields, Jr., William Bruce and Jimmy O’Shields, Sr.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.
