Mrs. Buna Deitz: Obituary

Buna Deitz, age 105 of Hayesville, NC passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in Clay County, NC.

She was the daughter of the late E.G. and Jeannie Cagle Moody. Buna was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, going to church, spending time with her friends and family. Buna was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Deitz and one son, Earl Deitz.

She is survived by her son, Carl Deitz and wife Gracie of Lawrenceville, GA; one daughter, Helen Leford of Hayesville, NC; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville. Rev. Jimmy Rogers will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville.
