Mrs. Lillian Ada Reagan: Obituary

Lillian Ada Reagan, age 87, of Murphy, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at her residence. She was a native of Rochester, New York. She moved to Cherokee County in 1988. Lillian loved camping, going to yard sales, and most of all, her family.

She was the wife of the late William Edward Reagan, who died April 21, 2016. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Lackey, two grandsons, Christopher Lackey and John Lackey, and one great grandson, Dakota Jones.

Surviving are five daughters, Cheryl Lackey of Rochester, New York, Karen Luladakis, Debi Vercrouse and husband, Jay, Michelle Brendle, and Trish Rudgers and partner, Steven McLain all of Murphy; four sons, Walter Lackey and wife, Jeanne of Tulsa, Oklahoma, David Lackey and wife Laurie of Murphy, Roger Reagan and wife, Julie of Blairsville, Georgia, and Wayne Reagan of Rochester, New York; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-one great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. Hoyt Brown officiating. The interment will be in Peachtree Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Guli, Wesley Vercrouse, Brad Lackey, Ben Gabrielli, Joe Lackey, and Cody Rudgers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:45 p.m. Monday at Ivie Funeral Home prior to the service.
