Edward W. Tweedle, 86, known as the Corn Dog man of Andrews, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday morning, June 23, 2016 at Hawthorne Village in Brandon, FL.
He was born on July 10, 1929 to Charles R. and Edna Tweedle. He was a native of Stoney Creek Ontario came to Tampa, FL in 1960 residing in Brandon, FL and then moving to Andrews NC in 1978. He was a member of the International Independent Showman’s Association and the Great Tampa Showman’s Club of Tampa, FL.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in law, Lisa & Jimmy Evans, Brandon, FL; granddaughter, Kayla Evans Walliser and husband Jonathan and nephew, Rick Tweedle.
A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Faith Baptist Tabernacle in Andrews, NC with family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Pastor Homer Wilson and Pastor Jimmy Evans will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice of Tampa.
