Mr. Harry Scott Nichols: Obituary

Harry Scott Nichols, age 82 of Andrews went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was born in the year of our Lord, December 1, 1933 in Andrews to the late Adam Nichols and the late Virginia Wilson Nichols. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Andrews. He lived and attended school in Andrews. He enlisted in the U. S. Navy, June 7th, 1951, from which he received an honorable discharge in September 2nd 1954.

He worked and retired as a bank courier for the United Community Bank.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Kathryn Foders Nichols; son, Jamie Adam Nichols & wife, Davann Hubbard Nichols, grandchildren, Anthony Nichols, Ashlie Nichols, step grandchildren, Slade & wife Gina Hubbard, their sons, David and Reid, and Kristy & husband, Denny Rutan and their daughter, Piper; daughter, Angeline Nichols Phillips and husband, Robin Phillips, grandson, Waylan Scott Stalcup & wife, Brandy Pace Stalcup; one great granddaughter, Mackenzie Stalcup. She is also survived by sister, Betty Nichols Wood, brother, Gene Pete Nichols and many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Private services will be held at Valleytown Cemetery with children and immediate family.

Donations may be made to the First Baptist church of Andrews, to the General Fund.
