Linda Byrd Lucas passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016. Linda is the daughter of the late Vivian Barnette and George Marion Byrd, Sr. She leaves behind her loving husband of 30 years, Bobby James Lucas, her daughter, Kimberley LaRue Gedrose, her son, Garey Lawrence Gedrose, Jr., a brother, George Byrd and wife Linda, two grandchildren, Marissa Gedrose and Rachel Gedrose, two great-grandchildren, Avery O’Leary and Allison O’Leary and her loving companion Samson. Linda was a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, 495 Herbert Hills Drive, Hayesville, NC 28904.
