Troy Bishop Murrin Jr., 73, of Murphy passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in an Andrews care facility. He was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County.
He was the son of the late Troy Bishop Sr. and Lula Aline Taylor Murrin. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jane Crawford; and three brothers, Joseph Edward, Jack Brian, and Samuel Fred Murrin.
Surviving are three daughters, Shannon Bryant and husband, Paul of Topton, Misty Murrin of Andrews, and Gail Jones and husband, Fred of Fayetteville, Georgia; a son, Ray Murrin and wife, Bridgette of Fayetteville, Georgia; two brothers, Jim Murrin and wife, Shelia of Bellflower, California and Bill Murrin and wife, Martha of Blairsville, Georgia; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
