Mr. Thomas Bryce Burrell: Obituary

Thomas Bryce Burrell, age 42, of Murphy, NC passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at Murphy Medical Center.

Bryce was born in Cherokee County. He was the son of Thomas Ronnie and Patricia Marie Nix Burrell of Murphy. Bryce was an Army Dependent for 14 years. He had been a self-employed painter. Bryce enjoyed painting and fishing. He loved spending time with his boys. Bryce dream was to travel.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his sons, Ethan Nathaniel Burrell and Thomas Evan Burrell both of Murphy; brothers, Shannon Blake Phillips of Mississippi and Christian Brent Burrell of Murphy; sister, Morgan Brittanee Burrell of Murphy; nephew, Blake Steven Phillips; nieces, Aliyah Martinez and Elena Martinez and Paisley Christian Burrell all of Murphy.

Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC. Rev. Ben Adams and Rev. Chris Rumfelt will officiate. Burial will be in the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shannon Phillips, Christian Burrell, Jermell Sudderth, Dwayne Stewart, Channing Wilson and Chris Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Dockery and Ted Sneed.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM, Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home in Murphy, NC.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bryce’s two sons, Ethan Burrell and Evan Burrell, 3914 Hanging Dog Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
