Fundraiser BBQ and Auction August 20th, 2017, at Martin’s Creek Community Center

 

 

 

CHEROKEE COUNTY, N.C.- August 20th, 2017, at 5:00p.m., there will be a BBQ chicken dinner followed by an auction at the Martin’s Creek Community Center to raise funds for the annual Scott Hogsed Youth Conservation and Education Day. This year’s Youth Conservation and Education Day will be on August 26st, 2017, in Brasstown, NC, and will honor Shannon Christy, extreme kayaker and outdoor enthusiast. Proceeds of the fundraiser will be used for t-shirts, the free lunch provided, drinks, and door prizes.

The auction will begin at 7:00p.m., and will include homemade baked goods, household items, horse items, and assorted other items. The auctioneer will be Ivan Hogsed.
