Russell Wade West: Obituary

Russell Wade West, 45, of Andrews passed away Friday, March 9, 2018. He was a native and lifetime resident of Andrews. Russell enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He worked with Mason’s Creations installing gutters and vinyl siding.

He was the son of the late Carrol Wade and Kathy Passmore West. He was also preceded in death by the maternal grandfather, R.L. Passmore.

Surviving are two daughters, Tara Smith and Arica Smith, both of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; his former wife, Melinda Anderson Jump of Hayesville; two sisters, Angela Kerr and Darla West, both of Andrews; a brother, Tim West and wife, Morgan of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; the paternal grandmother, Gertrude Cecil of High Point; six grandchildren, Dakota, Jaydon, Julian, Rayleigh, Jessie, and Ashlynn; two nieces, Emerson and Kaylee; and two nephews, Noah and A.J.

A memorial service was held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 in the Rowlands Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenny Ball officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Russell Wade West to Ivie Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
