Juanita P. Gibson, daughter of Arthur and Millie Ryder Phillips went home to Heaven on Sunday, June 17, 2018.
She worked at Levi’s for many years and Brumby’s Textile. She was co-owner of Mack’s Quick Lunch. Juanita loved her flowers, working in her garden, and her little dog, Bandit.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Morrow; a son, Michael Gibson; three sisters, Eunice Perry, Inamae Ratcliff, and Mary Haygood; and three brothers, Junior, Mack, and James Phillips.
Surviving are her loving husband of 63 years, Mack Gibson; a daughter, Angela Graves of Murphy; two sons, Clyde Gibson and wife, Pam of San Diego, California and Steve Gibson and wife, Vickie of Murphy; a sister, Wanda Murphy and husband, Frankie of Murphy; a brother, Don Phillips and wife, Eileen of Murphy; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Lee Tanner officiating. The interment will be in Sunset Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy.
