Patricia Ann McCoy

05/12/1962 – 05/02/2019

Patricia Ann McCoy, age 56 of Andrews, NC passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Asheville, NC.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, NC and the daughter of the late James Horace Dockery and Eloise Dockery of Andrews, NC. Patricia worked for McDonald’s as a cook. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a children’s Sunday school teacher.

In addition to her father she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Scotty Dockery.

In addition to her mother she is survived by one sister, Juanita Walsh and husband Riley.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy. Pastor Allen Kea will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home.

Townson-Rose Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
