Jessie Mae Hyatt: Obituary

Jessie Mae Hyatt, age 90 of Hiawassee, GA passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Marvin and Roxanne Kimsey. Jessie was a homemaker and a member of Many Forks Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Rexter W. Hyatt; brothers, Carl, Harold and Homer Kimsey and sister, Bessie Arrowood.

Jessie is survived by her sons, William R Hyatt and wife Susie and Daniel M. Hyatt and wife Cindy; daughter, Cathy Stiles and husband William; grandchildren, Katrina Laxton, Kim Burrell, Johnathan Hyatt, Jeremy Hyatt and Ashley Hyatt; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 pm – 8 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Townson-Rose Funeral Home Chapel of Hayesville where she will remain until being placed in the church one hour prior to the service hour..

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Many Forks Baptist Church in Young Harris, GA. Dr. Eddis Dockery and Rev. Billy Stiles will officiate. Music will be provided by Rev. Chris Rumfelt. Pallbearers will be Joey Hyatt, Keith Hyatt, Jeremy Hyatt, Johnathan Hyatt, Kenneth Davis and Jay Burrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Hyatt, Kenny Gibson and Wade Brown. Burial will be in Many Forks Baptist Church Cemetery.
