Suspect in Stab Related Case is Now in Custody

Joshua Gibby is now in custody. Thank you to everyone that provided information and assistance. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office North Carolina responded to a stabbing in the Marble Community. The victim was flown out by air ambulance.
Joshua Gibby is a person of interest in the case. Gibby has an active detainer for child support arrearage and misdemeanor warrants. If you know the whereabouts of Gibby or see him, please do not approach. You can call 828-837-1344 to submit a tip.
