Cherokee County Board of Education Announce New Principal of Hiwassee Dam Elementary Middle School

CJ Rummler earned his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from North Carolina Wesleyan College in 1999. He completed his Masters in School Administration from East Carolina University in 2006. Mr. Rummler has teaching experience in Elementary, Middle, and High School, with 8 years in Nash County and 16 years in Cherokee County. He has served as an Assistant Principal at Murphy Middle School and as Principal of Murphy Elementary School.

When not at school, Mr. Rummler enjoys cooking for family and friends and working around his house.
