Day 3 Game 2 Women : Polk County (TN) 61 Hayesville (NC) 29

 

(Hiawassee, GA) – – Everything is flowing for the Polk County Wildkittens as they defeated the Hayesville Yellow Jackets 61-to-29 in Day 3 of the Battle of the States Basketball tournament.  Polk County jumped out to outstanding inside and outside shooting from Callie Brewer and Sarah England who posted a couple of 3-Pointers and about three additional shots in the paint to conclude the first period with a 23-to-5 lead.  Polk County took advantage of Hayesville’s turnovers and spun them into gold to take the win.  Callie Brewer and Aubrey Long led all scorers with 15 points each.
