Raynell Denton Orton Wallace: Obituary

Raynell Denton Orton Wallace, age 85 of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her home.

Raynell was the daughter of the late Joe and Nora Gladson Denton. She was an active member of the Hopewell Baptist Church. Raynell enjoyed Senior Citizens Pantry and wood carving. She was an avid traveler having traveled all 50 States, Australia, New Zealand and the Holy Lands.

Raynell was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Orton, her second husband, Harry Wallace and sister, Betty Jean Simonds.

Surviving is her daughter, Marsha Stiles and husband Terry of Marble; sons, Steve Orton and wife Karla and Jody Orton all of Murphy; sister, Carolyn Yvonne Anderson of Elijay; seven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Townson-Rose Funeral Home, Murphy. Rev. Bill Maughan and grandson Rev. Zachary Orton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brian Stiles, Zachary Orton, Rogan Orton, Jared Orton and Greg Anderson.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the funeral home.
