Tim Cassidy, 74, of Murphy passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Central Islip, Long Island, New York. Tim worked as a chef for the State of New York. He also was a captain of the Central Islip Fire Department. Tim had been residing in Murphy for the last 28 years. He was a member of the Saint William Catholic Church.
He was the son of the late Bob and Ann Cassidy. He was also preceded in death by a two-year old son, Robbie Cassidy.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Adrienne Cassidy; a daughter, Lisa Wilner and husband, Jerry of Murphy; two grandchildren, Eric Brooks and Amy Brooks; a great grandson, Jaxson Brooks; and a special sister-in-law, Valerie Kirchner.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
