3-Point Jump Shot Derby Keeps the Pace Between Hayesville and Coosa – Eagles Take the Win in Final Seconds

(Hiawasse, GA)  – – Hayesville’s Ethan Hooper and Coosa’s Joseph Richardson taught fans how to shoot a 3-Point jump shot, over and over and over and over.   Richardson ended the game with 39 points, with six 3-Pointers.  Hooper nailed five 3-Pointers to tally up 22 points.  The Hayesville Yellow Jackets held a thin lead through most of the game, which was tied at 29 each at halftime.  Richardson poured on 16 points in the third period to keep the Eagles close to Hayesville.  The Yellow Jackets countered with an up tempo offense to keep the Eagles off balance.  When the momentum appeared it might shift, Hooper silenced the gym on what seemed to be a timed shot beyond the arc.  The battled between the two teams came down to the last few seconds.  For the second day in a row, Hayesville misses victory in the last few seconds of a challenging game.

Friday Games : Hayesville will face Polk County at 11:30AM.  Coosa plays Franklin at 2:30PM
