Hayesville Brings Balance Attack on Coosa Eagle

(Hiawasse, GA) – – Whether they are Eagles or Yellow Jackets, it was not easy for either Coosa or Hayesville to take flight in this game. Once the ball bounced a few times, Hayesville was the team that warmed up and found its shot. Coosa did not have many shots from the floor, but when the Eagles made them, the officials made the field goal pose. Five 3-point shots were made by four Coosa players totaling up nearly 60% of the Eagle scoring. Both teams had their challenges controlling the ball, but Hayesville reduced its turn overs and demonstrated several fast-breaks and dribble-drives to gain more scoring opportunities. Hayesville Coach Chad McClure was please with the improved performance. Lila Roberts led the Yellow Jackets with 10 points and Abby Jacobs was the Eagles’ lead scorer with 11.

Friday Games : Hayesville will face Polk County (TN) at 1PM. Coosa will open the day with Murphy at 10AM.
