Jeremy Lee McClure, age 39 of Murphy, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home.

Jeremy was a native of Cherokee County, NC. He was a son of Rev. Jimmy and Gail McClure of Marble. Jeremey was a Christian and a member of Vengeance Creek Baptist Church. He was co-owner of Burger Boy in Murphy with his wife Shannon. Jeremy was a graduate of Andrews High School Class of 1995 and a graduate of Western Carolina University.

Jeremy was a wonderful husband, father and step-father. He was an avid sports fan and video game player.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James “Jay” and Lucille Stiles and paternal grandparents, Jim and Haroldean McClure. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Shannon McClure; daughter, Isabella Lee McClure; step-daughter, Alexis Newton; step-son, Jaxon King; sister, Jill Radford; nieces, Bethanie Edwards, Mallorie Radford and Macie Radford; many other family members, close friends and his work family.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Murphy Bible Church. Rev. Ben Adams will officiate. Burial will be at Vengeance Creek Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jeff Tatham, Matt Edwards, Lucas Luther, Bryan Luther, Lee Tatham and Travis Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaxon King and James Little.

The family will receive friends 12 PM to 2 PM, Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Murphy Bible Church.
