Mrs. Patricia Ann Kilpatrick Barnett, age 66 of Murphy, passed away Monday, January 17, 2016 in Murphy. Mrs. Barnett was born June 3, 1949 in Murphy, NC to Arnold and Lenore Gregory Kilpatrick. She was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County and was a member of Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Barnett enjoyed quilting and was an animal lover.

Survivors include: husband, Gary Barnett, daughter, Kandace Barnett, sisters, Jo Stiles, and Ann Stiles, all of Murphy.

Funeral services: Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Crisp officiating. Music will be provided by Montrece Hardin. Interment will be in the Maggie’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy, Saturday, January 23, 2016, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.
