Marilyn A. Wright, 84, of Deltona, Florida, formerly of Murphy, died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Putnam County, Florida. She was a native of Hamilton, Ohio, but lived most of her life in Palmetto, Florida before moving to Murphy in 1997 and returning to Florida in 2011. She was a retired Avon salesperson and was of the Christian faith.

She was the daughter of the late Carl Frederick and Alma Irene Cunningham Lintner and the wife of the late Herbert Leo Wright, who died October 28, 2008.

Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Langham of Pomona Park, Florida; a son, Dan Wright and wife, Connie of Bradenton, Florida; and four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Tim Lee officiating. The interment will be in Ranger United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 Friday morning at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy prior to the services.
