Lisa Ball, 53, of Murphy passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She was a native of Catonsville, Maryland, but lived in Cape Coral, Florida for 20 years before moving to Murphy in 2006. Lisa worked in banking most of her life and locally at United Community Bank in Blairsville, Georgia and the State Employees Credit Union in Hayesville. She was a member of MountainView Church, where she was involved with the Women’s Ministry. Lisa also enjoyed quilting.

She was the daughter of the late Marylou Blum.

Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Len Ball; two sons, Evan Ball and Erik Ball, both of Murphy; and two sisters, Heather Box and Kim Padilla, both of Cape Coral, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at MountainView Church, 69 Fall Branch Road, Murphy with Pastor Jeff Owens officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3-4 Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2016 at the MountainView Church prior to the services.
