Margie Della Garrett, age 101 of Murphy, NC passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Barney and Pearl Vandiver McDonald and a member of Little Glade Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Garrett; son, Willard Garrett Jr.; and seven brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Annie Ruth Walker; five grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; four-great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday November 4, 2016 at the Little Glade Baptist Church. Rev. Ronnie Palmer will officiate. Burial will be in Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Little Glade Baptist Church.
