Travis Duane Rutledge, age 36 of Hayesville passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Murphy Medical Center. Travis was born February 19, 1981, in St. Petersburg, Fl.

He was a hard worker, a talented carpenter, and a loving son, brother, and father of three.

Travis leaves behind three beautiful children, Iris Jane Rutledge, Travis Duane Rutledge II, and Lewis Allen Rutledge, mother of his children Faith Denise Duckworth. Other surviving family members include his mother, Anna Higgins Rutledge, father, Duane Rutledge, and four siblings, Arthur Diesz, Marlena Rutledge Starks, Kanessa Rutledge, and Viola Rutledge many loving friends and extended family members.
