Murphy Wins SMC Golf Championship- Robbinsville & Cherokee Also Qualify For Regionals

Mountain Harbour- The final day of the Smoky Mountain Conference Golf Championships kicked off yesterday at Mountain Harbour Golf Club in Hayesville. The Murphy Bulldogs managed to build onto the lead that they had built on day one as they were crowned Smoky Mountain Conference Champions for the second year in a row. Wyatt Simmons was the low-man in the tournament, shooting rounds of 77 and 79 to win SMC golfer of the year and individual champion. Connor and Bradey Golden also finished in the top five for the Dogs, and Andrew Barolet finished solo 6th.

The Robbinsville Black Knights finished in second place, due in-part to Isaiah Browns 2 day score of 161. Brown was named All-Conference and was the individual runner-up for the SMC tournament.
