Andrews, NC- The most sought after recruit in the Smoky Mountain Conference now has a home, as Andrews High School’s Tyler West commits to North Carolina State University where he will continue his athletic and academic career.

The 6 foot 5, 270lb, three star offensive tackle has 8 division 1 offers according to 247sports and is the 30th ranked player in the state of North Carolina.

West will now join former Murphy Bulldog Yousef Mugharbil on the NC State offensive line, as the former SMC foes will join forces next Fall.

West had offers from Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, ECU, UNC-Charlotte, App State, and Duke.
