Gladys Totherow, age 68, of Marble, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at an Andrews care facility. She was a native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County.  She was of the Christian faith.

She was the daughter of the late Arnold Richmond and Lenna Elizabeth Welch Totherow. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Totherow.

Surviving are a sister, Sue Jones and husband, Newton of Nantahala; a niece, Tracy Feria; a great niece, Cristina Feria; a great nephew, Jacen Carver; five very special cousins, Elizabeth Beavers, Gayle Lewis, Darrell Watkins, Bobby Watkins, and Faye Wilson; an uncle, R.L. Totherow and family of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; and an aunt, Frances Rimmer and family of Bessemer City, North Carolina.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Maltby Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Beavers officiating. Pallbearers will be Darrell Watkins, Bobby Watkins, Jacob Garrison, Rickie Garrison, Tobe Watkins, and Eric Martin.
