Victor Matheson, 53, of Andrews passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.

Victor was a hard worker who loved spending time with his family and going fishing. He had a great personality and was loved by so many. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.

Surviving are his parents, Wallace and Claudia Jean Matheson; three daughters, Keilah Stewart and Kandace Matheson both of Robbinsville, and Kristen Matheson Young of Andrews; a sister, Wanda Burns of Cullowhee; a brother, Matthew Matheson of Baltimore, Maryland; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 Saturday evening, September 24, 2016 at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Andrews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Victor Matheson Memorial Fund at any United Community Bank.
