1st Quarter- 16-11 Robbinsville leads

Robbinsville started the scoring early with a Brock Adams free-throw to take the first lead of the game. Dillion Brown quickly answered back with a 3 to give the Bulldogs a lead, but some shotty defense allowed number 1 seeded Robbinsville to roll in quarter 2 with a 16-11 lead.

2nd Quarter- 26-24 Robbinsville leads Murphy

Dillion Brown’s 2 second quarter three pointers helped the Bulldogs tighten this one up heading into the half. Robbinsville is doing a great job sharing the ball as 4 of their five starters scored in quarter 2, and if the Knights can keep that up they could have the Dogs on the ropes late in the second half.

What a quarter! The previous 8 minutes all belonged to the Black Knights. Xander Wachacha got hot, hitting a few daggers from deep and making it count at the free throw line. Another Murphy technical near the end of the 3rd allowed Wachacha to stretch the Black Knights lead to 15.

After a heated altercation nearly cleared the stands with 3 seconds left on the clock, the Robbinsville Black Knights were crowned SMC Tourny Champs!
