Four arrested in drug raid

Murphy, NC— Sheriff Derrick Palmer announced the June 11, 2021 arrest of 33-year-old Jonathan Dwayne Crowder, 33-year-old Sheena Renee Dockery, 30-year-old Lindsey Ann Lemon of Murphy, North Carolina, and Kristi Michelle Crowder of Blue Ridge, Georgia for charges stemming from violations of the North Carolina Controlled Substances statutes.
On May 11, 2021, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office issued a search warrant in Murphy. During the search of the residence trafficking amounts of methamphetamine and heroin were seized along with a stolen motor vehicle.
Jonathan Dwayne Crowder was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Heroin, Maintaining a Dwelling for use, storage, sale of controlled substances, and Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle. Crowder was released on a $20,000.00 secure bond and has a July 01, 2021, Cherokee County District Court date.
Sheena Renee Dockery was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and released on a $2,000.00 secure bond and has a July 01, 2021, Cherokee County District Court date.
Kristi Michelle Crowder was charged with Possession of Heroin and released on a $5,000.00 secure bond and has a July 01, 2021, Cherokee County District Court date.
Lindsey Ann Lemon was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Trafficking in Heroin. She is currently incarcerated in the Cherokee County Detention Center under a $50,000.00 secure bond and has a July 01, 2021 Cherokee County District Court date.
Sheriff Derrick Palmer stated “We appreciate the public’s assistance in providing information to make this search, seizure, and arrest. Again teamwork helps in our battle with drugs in Cherokee County North Carolina.”
